Cellulite Reviews: Accent, Creams And Jillian Michaels

by K. Moehr

1. ACCENT Radiofrequency: First…OUCH! They say this is going to feel like a hot stone massage. Well, bring it on, I thought. No, not quite. It isn’t relaxing and enjoyable and the results aren’t worth the price or the pain. I did it several times (over a dozen in the same area) and only got mild results.

2. Bliss Fat Girl Slim: Pricey, but fun. Who doesn’t love the Bliss Spa offering? Unfortunately it’s much like their self-touted cellulite serum and not quite worth the price in that it doesn’t really deliver (for me anyway). I used it religiously with the nighttime version, good exercise and diet, but nothing much happened. Oh well…

3. Oligo DX Cellulite Reducing Gel: One item on my line-up that works. I wasn’t expecting much when I started using it (my hopes have been dashed too many times!), but I really see results when I use it. I’m firmer, more toned and even (dare I say) a bit thinner? I will definitely re-purchase (for a third time!)

4. Celluthin: In the pink bottle. Wanted it to work and all the reviews on amazon.com promised it would. But alas, it just doesn’t seem to do the trick with me (used for 3 straight weeks). I don’t get it?

5. Bliss stimilator: Yes, get one! It’s cheap, quick and although temporary (really what isn’t), it’s the fastest way to appear more toned. It revs your circulation in your trouble spots. Use it in the shower or bath.

6. Pycnogenol: My new secret weapon. Dr. Murad and others tout antioxidants as the enemy of cellulite. I tried this one and for me, it really helps. I eat a pretty high antiox diet, but adding this supplement a few times a week seems to really work.

7. 30 Day Shred (Jillian Michaels): Yeah, you’ve heard it before…diet and exercise. Well, this video has 3 separate workouts that are just 20 minutes long and they do help. Sorry…I wish I could report exercise is overrated, but no such luck!
